Hollywood Hair extensions was founded by ex-model Ashley Newberry, who saw a need for a more friendly ‘green’ method of applying hair extensions. She originally had extensions for work purposes, creating a head of full-bodied luscious locks for her photo shoots. Realising how easy it is to wear them in day to day life- she simply looked at them as a necessity. However being stuck with the ‘classic’ glue method, she began to research to find alternative methods that would be more friendly on her hair whilst allowing it to grow underneath.

After falling in love with extensions and the difference they made to her, she wanted to share her secret with other women. So after Training for hair extensions and gaining her Diploma, she began to start up her own business; Hollywood Hair extensions UK. Whilst still practising the classic glue method (small glue bonds known as the fusion method), she continued to re-search for other application methods realising more and more the need for a more friendly alternative. After finding a method known as ‘micro ring’ she immediately started her intensive training course and started to convert her existing customers over to this new application system, realising the major advantages it has over nearly all of the well known methods.

With now over 6 years experience in hair extensions, she has earned the title ‘extension specialist’ and continued to turn out beautiful sets of hair extensions and happy customers. We believe in living life to its highest potential, and in most cases our clients discover a hidden world of confidence they never knew they had. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder we agree, but looking fabulous definitely makes you feel like a new woman.

With being a lover of hair extensions ourselves and believing it is worth every penny, we knew realistically the cost of them sometimes affected a lot of people’s decisions when looking into having them. I felt this was such a shame but understandable looking at some of the extortionate salon prices, that’s where I knew I could make a difference. After 6years experience with numerous hair suppliers, we have found an amazing supplier where the quality of hair is grade A , cuticle intact and luscious.  We also buy the hair in large bulk, so we are entitled to certain discounts that we translate into our pricing.

Due to popular demand, Hollywood Hair extensions UK has expanded and taken on another member of staff, Michelle is also a diploma trained hair extensionist.
