People that enjoy the free-flowing effect delivered by attaching extensions strand by strand will find the Micro Ring suitable. Methods such as ‘weaving’ can cause a lot of stress to the hair due to the weight and can clump together; this does not allow the natural movement that the micro-rings have. Also those that have come across Thermal Bonding (fusion) but are not comfortable with the idea of glue or resin seals will find that the Micro Ring is a superb ‘Green’ alternative that offers the same results.

A strand of extension hair along with the client’s natural hair is crocheted through the Micro Ring using a small latch-hook or wire eye instrument. The ring is then closed flat using a ‘connector/disconnector’, sealing the extension and natural hair together.

The rings are compact and flat and are colour coded to match the hair (i.e. Brown rings would be used to attach brown hair to keep the extension connection as hidden & unnoticeable as possible). They lie flat and can be less bulky than some thermal resin bonds. Smaller rings may be used closer to the hair line or fringe or on thinner hair.

These rings are a vast improvement to the common wefting methods in use today. Not only are they light, flexible, and quick to install and remove, Micro rings do not require sticky glues for attachment or strong solvents for removal. Anyone familiar with hair systems knows the damage that these harsh chemicals can cause. The Micro ring attachment can be removed without pulling your hair out. The creation and use of our Micro ring Technology has shown us that they are superior.

It is also an option to re-use the extensions and re-apply using the same hair at a later date or for a special occasion. If this is done the charge would simply be for the re-application. Another advantage of the micro-ring system! (May not be suitable if  originally worn for full 3 months)

Micro Rings, like Thermal Bonded extensions, will last 3 months, however you should expect a few to come out during this time. However some clients if having kept to the maintenance schedule loose none! Maintenance is recommended after around 6 weeks, where some new hair is added and the rings are tightened. This ensures maximum wear of the extensions and also tidies up the hair keeping it looking tip top at all times.

It is important to get your Micro Rings removed by a qualified technician as trying to pull them out yourself can cause hair breakage, however when taken out professionally it is an extremely quick process and you will left with hair in the normal condition that your used to, usually with added length!
